1940s Pot Holders Black Americana Theme MINT Original Package

Circa 1940 this Bucilla embroidery kit is unused, and ready to finish. The theme, politically correct or not, is of a black lady and a black gentleman in polka dot hats and handkerchiefs.

The ready made pot holders are stamped on durable Oyster Kraft-weave. They are finished with padding and red dot ruffle and trim and loops for hanging. The fast color percale patches and Bucilla flosses to attach the appliques and complete the embroidery are included. Instruction are given for finishing on the back of the envelope. Just a few stitches needed! Everything is pinned in place on the pot holders. Finished size is 7 & 1/2 x 7 & 1/2 inches. The envelope shows some wear.

This item belongs in a book about Black America memorabilia! Also listed in my shop is a matching kit for a matching apron. These are from the same estate. These are very rare and special items destined for a true collector.
