This vintage brooch is THICK, WIDE AND CHUNKY! It is an excellent example of vintage Bakelite jewelry. It is just shy of 3 inches across, 1.5 inches deep and is just shy of 1 inch thick. MAGNIFICENT! It is all carved from one fat solid piece.
Excellent work! It is a curvy, splashy, SHOW-OFF hunk of Bakelite. The color is classic creamed corn. The original brass pin back is secure and functions well.
There is one small chip at one end. It is shown with a red star next to it in the picture. It is on the down swoop of the very edge of one corner. It is about 1/4 inch long.
It is TRUE VINTAGE, and is double tested POSITIVE as vintage Bakelite. It is also FABULOUS! Luscious color, exquisite carving and spectacular size.
