A stunning estate find from estate sale in Fayetteville,NC the deceased was raised in Germany, but married a serviceperson in the 1950's and came to the US. This piece is very unusual . Signed ARS Artigiana Deruta Italy. Textured nubby surface with bright tin glazed flowers and turquoise interior. Measures 8 inches high and 8 inches wide at top. Interior glaze is very bright. There are two rim chips two areas with very small flea bites the other can be felt with finger. Nip is pictured. The shape is unusual with trio - or three lobed resevoirs. It's a beautiful and unusual piece of Majolica/Faience pottery despite those little chips.
