Victorian Black Ostrich Feather Velvet Hat

This is a fabulous Victorian Era hat which features a full ring of flowing, breezy ostrich feathers. The hat is constructed of black velvet and features a turned up brim on one side. The velvet is showing wear to the underside only, as it is well over 100 years old. The hat measures 12" in diameter. The feathers go completely around the entire hat, making this a prized possession! Original stretchy collar holder is still present. The stitching is typical of what you would find on a hat of this age. Fantastic Victorian piece!
