Art Deco French Paste Rhinestone Chandelier Necklace and Screw Back Earrings

This is a fabulous and early necklace and screw back earrings. Both the necklace and earrings are chandelier in style, with dripping paste rhinestones throughout.

The necklace is fashioned of unusual linked settings, two tulip shaped ones followed by a round setting. The metal is a light pot metal which has a slightest hint of a sheen. The base of this grand necklace is a large chandelier with three rows of draping dangles. The necklace measures a hair shy of 16" long with the chandelier adding a 3 3/4" drop.

The earrings are screw back in style and made of the same metal and paste stones. Three dangles also come fromt he base of the earrings. The earrings appear a bit more grand than the necklace, so we are uncertain if they are a true set or perhaps a very good marriage. However, they have been kept together and worn together for so long, so they shall be sold together! The earrings measure 2 1/4" long by about 1" wide.

This has been the most difficult set to photograph! I have been trying for two weeks to capture the true beauty of the set, but have fallen short of my expectations. The condition is quite good on the set. Each and every paste rhinestone is present and appear original. However a few have darkened with age. The metal is in very good condition! The clasp on the necklace is a replacement and not original to the piece. Most likely had a more delicate clasp that had broken in the past.
