This ring is STUNNING! My pictures DO NOT do it justice. It is a circa 1960 European made dinner ring. It has the European mark of 750 for 18kt. gold on it's interior shank as well as a worn mark that may say Italy or be the makers mark. We also acid tested entire ring to verify it's gold. The 8.7ct cabochon opal just shimmers with many colors. It has no cracks or chips. We feel the 20 12pt. brilliant cut diamonds are all original as they match so well. They show lightly gray in all photos-they are NOT! They are white, clear & super bright to the eye. You will be amazed at their beauty when you get this ring-their look is fantastic. I took numerous photos trying to do justice to the diamonds to show them well. I submitted my best (the last photo) which is on top of a new, white pillowcase. The oval top of the ring measures 1 1/8" x 7/8". The opal measures 3/4" x 9/16" & stands 3/16" above diamonds. According to my gauge the ring is a size 7 3/4. Any woman will absolutely love this.
