This delightful dresser item has a lovely mint green enamel w/hand painted flowers and blue ribbons. The enamel is in excellent condition with out damage/restoration. The chamois type buffer fabric is intact w/no rips/holes and the base where you buff is still soft & has nap. The sides where it attaches to sterling is intact but has some dark stains and a type of solidifying of nap from either wetness or re-gluing. This in no way affects buffing as it is on the side rims NOT the base where buffing is done. The sterling pattern definition is excellent & sterling parts are in excellent condition. Those spots I have marked w/black arrows that look somewhat like dents/pooches are NOT damage. Those are part of the manufacture and we believe to be an internal spot to possibly hold a clip in type area to the buffer piece. Both buffer & tray have Saart Bros hallmark. Buffer is 5 1/" long x 1" at center x 1 1/2" tall at handle. Tray is 6 1/2" long x 1 3/4" wide at center. Circa 1935. Please read "ABOUT US" & "TERMS OF SALE" before purchasing.
