As chunky as Lalique's Gregoire Toad was, Baccarat's version was cool, sleek and sensuous! A pool of clear . unblemished crystal that is unmistakably Baccarat!

To run your fingers along his back is almost a sensuous experience! And while it's odd to refer to a frog as elegant, He was surely the handsome young prince in the fairy tale! Baccarat made a number of frogs - this one being the largest - and he has long retired. Measuring 3.75" at the base, he stands more than 3" tall.

CONDITION: There was l small chip in the back right foot. Never a visual concern because of where it was - it could still be felt. He was so otherwise flawless. we had it ground and polished. Mentioned only for accuracy. Classic Baccarat insignia in the round on the base of the frog. France. c 50's.
