Pair of Italian prints on linen c.1920 defining a young couple in the meadow with sheep below a large tree and a young maiden reading a love letter amongst the stone carved walls of garden with birds and flowers. Reverse painting on the glass with talented workmanship. Gilt background with intricate designs surrounding the print. Framed in an antique cream and gilt scrolled frame. Small amounts on the inner gilt missing top and bottom on one and tiny amount on right side of other. Excellent condition otherwise,hangers on back. Measure 10.5L X 12.5H X 1H.
