About Us
Like many other people I know who cherish vintage costume jewelry, my lifelong passion for it was first nurtured while, as a very young child, I spent countless hours exploring the sparkling and gleaming wonders inside my dear mother's, and aunt's, and grandmother's jewelry boxes. The pleasure of those childhood memories, touching, imagining, and enjoying beautiful things has remained with me into adulthood, where my love of spectacular vintage fakes has grown into a love for antiques and good art. Now, a college professor by vocation, by avocation I am a collector and spend many enjoyable hours reading about and studying vintage costume jewelry. I search out and research, one by one, each of the lovely pieces I offer in my shop. I have chosen for you, only those items I would buy for myself and each of the beautiful confections deserves to be treasured, worn, and admired once again, as they were so many years ago.
