English and French country antiques with an emphasis on antique kitchenware, small painted country furniture and folk art.
French Art Deco style shop display stand, c.1920s - 40s. Used to display cheeses, the stand rests on tripod feet, has a chrome handle for carrying and a rotational marble slab. Its clean and modern lines add to its appeal and lend itself easily to most interiors. A great table centerpiece. Condition is very good. The marble has gently weathered over the years, particularly around the edge to produce a nice “soft” patina. There is a chip underneath the stand, as shown. No repairs.
Stand measures 7 ½” h x 12” d. Please note that small and not large pears were used in the photographs.
