This 1940's porcelain dresser set includes a round, covered pin box, and matching, rectangular shaped dresser tray with gracefully scalloped edges trimmed in gold. This hand painted set is beautiful with soft, three-dimensional looking pink and white roses, buds, and shades of green leaves. The accent color is chocolate brown. The tray and the box are glazed with a nice shine. The bottom of the tray is not glazed.

This set is in excellent condition with only a tiny bit of paint wear on the raised scroll design inside the dresser tray and on the gold edge trim. There are no chips, cracks, or crazing.

The mark on the bottom of the tray is a round, black circle with a smaller black circle in the center surrounding the number 16. The same mark is still somewhat visable on the bottom of the box as well as an impressed mold number, 857.
