This rare blue celery vase is a wonderful example of Early American Pattern Glass. Made by Bryce and Higbee in 1885, this piece was originally called "Earl". It is in wonderful condition with no damage of any kind. It as three tiny air bubbles and a straw mark formed in the top rim.
Identified in the "Standard Encyclopedia of Pressed Glass" Third edition, this pattern is also known as Nailhead Variant, Squared Dot, and Spirea.
This vase measures 8" tall and 4" in diameter. It is a highly desirable addition to any fine collection of true EAPG.
