The rare vintage DiMartino Originals Brooch measures 2 3/4 inches.The piece consist of Swarovski Navettes in cardinal and heliotrope which surround a very special aqua ab cabochon which is glass lamp worked c1950/60 Japan.These stones are rare and no longer made.The stone is a must see in person as the ab effect is actually down in the stone which waves and ripples in the glass.This reminds me of a fine blue fire opal.Any collector of DiMartino should have this pin in their collection.Stunning in deep plum and sapphires and pale mauve.It is like a mid-summer nights eve.DiMartino pieces resemble the glamorous costume jewelry of the decade 1950's thru 1960's.Each one is hand made and one of a kind.
