Adorable Green Cat Earthenware Hair Spray Cover from Japan

This is the neatest cat from Japan, produced in the 1960's. This is new old stock that has never been used. However, storage over the years has caused slight paint flaking as shown in the photos. This piece is just so charming.The cat appears to be sitting in a basket of flowers and has the cutest expression. It is open on the bottom so can be used to cover a can or hair spray or other toiletries or air freshener. The Japan paper label is still affixed to the inside. The cat stands 9.25" tall, and is 3.25" wide at the base.
